All ZAMAR devices are based on the principles of thermodynamics in industrial refrigeration systems applied to the medical sector.
By adopting heat-induced transformations involving changes in temperature and energy states, these systems guarantee high efficiency in heat exchange with the patient, leading to the consolidation of new standards of effectiveness for these types of treatment. By their nature, therefore, ZAMAR products do not require either water or ice to perform their work. The proprietary ZAMAR liquid is used as a physical medium for energy exchange from the patient to the device, which is an integral part of the system and therefore does not need to be filled and/or emptied after each treatment.
