MEASURES

How to choose the cuff size (circumference):
- Small = 43 cm or less (Medium sized arms)
- Medium = between 44.5cm and 58.5cm (Larger arms or thinner legs)
- Large = over 58.5 cm (Medium-sized legs)
Arm cuff measurement:
Measure the circumference of the space between the shoulder and the bite.
Leg cuff measurement
Measure the circumference of the space closest to the hip.

PRODUCT DETAILS

The SmartCuffs® PRO model was designed with only one person in mind: the healthcare professional. Whether you are a personal trainer, strength coach or doctor, this model was built with your needs in mind.

AutoRegulate Mode: The main feature that distinguishes it from the standard model. This option will allow the user to maintain the preset custom pressure for the duration of the exercise.

Custom pressure function: The same mode found in the standard model allows a quick and hassle-free custom pressure calculation. With the built-in pressure sensor and on-board computer, it will calculate and set the optimal pressure for your body. There is no need for an external Doppler probe or a hand pump. The unit will do it all for you.

IPC Modes: Integrated into the software, these modes can be easily performed by the user before and after the activity.

Li-Ion Battery: Gone are the days of using NiCad batteries that self-discharge and burn out after a year. Both the SmartCuffs® and SmartCuffs® Pro models feature the latest Li-Ion batteries to withstand rigorous use and provide fast charging capabilities.

Compatibility: SmartCuffs® and SmartCuffs® PRO pumps will work with our previous SmartCuffs® models from 2018 to 2020.

STANDARD VS PRO

Similarities
Both are electronic, computerized and automatically calculate, set and inflate a customized pressure.

Both have the option of disconnecting the hose from the cuffs for an unbound exercise.

Differences
With the SmartCuffs PRO you can disconnect the pump and the cuff will stay inflated (like our previous model) OR you can keep it connected and do the Auto Adjust (i.e. the pump will adjust the pressure in the cuff during exercise to your specific custom pressure) .

The PRO pump also allows for custom personal pressure selection, while the regular model ($ 299- $ 399) will offer preset personal pressures according to an intensity level (Low, Medium and High):

SmartCuffs PRO has IPC (Ischemic Preconditioning) modes built in. The normal model doesn't have it.

When used on a single person, the use of SmartCuffs (non-PRO / black) is recommended as it stores the customized pressure for each limb, which allows for better temporal efficiency. If using it on multiple people (client or patient) then the SmartCuffs PRO model (silver) is recommended, as it offers more flexibility for multiple users.
